1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

^ From my experience with the older season ones, a little, but not much; though that may be different with the ones from this year.

    Anyone from UK offering proxy?

Was wondering if you could look for something and perhaps proxy it.

The amount of stock of everything at 5th avenue is just ridiculous.

I don't understand this % proxy shit, du is doing the same amount of work why do you pay him more if you buy something that's more expensive? Just offer him a fixed amount of cash for x number of goods and he should be happy as fuck to take it.

If not find someone else, there are a thousand proxies it's NY.

    i understand that part.

what i meant is proxying from international will be about even if not slightly less with certain items on sale compared to buying at retail + suddenlee/domestic proxy.

being piss poor i'd like to save as much as i can and take advantage of a sale especially when a certain item i want is part of that sale.

thought i can perhaps wait as people are saying the stores in NY have huge inventory and items stocked right now. a sale is bound to come soon

I went early for the Seoul flagship opening today. Line wrapped around the block, but opened without a hitch.

There wasn't an item I'd seen online that wasn't in the store. The +J section was completely stocked- all styles, colors, and sizes - and was being restocked constantly throughout the morning; it was also 20% off. (EDIT: looks like the online store is also 20% off until 11.20)
I ended up with a black +J wool suit (M/31), +J green cashmere cardi (M), and a pair of grey corduroy pants (31).

    Comments...
Disappointed at the green of the +J knits, as it's a bit duller than the pictures online. They also run big.
On the other hand, the +J cash cardi was a vivid emerald green, which caught me as soon as I saw it. The purple one was a very bright hot pink; I wanted it, but couldn't justify the price for how often I'd wear it.
The colors + matte finish of the +J light down parkas is great; they're bold, but not so much that they distract from the rest of your outfit. The fit is a bit boxy, but I still want to pick one up in green.

I will be returning Sunday (two days from now) to pick up some gifts for family, take a second look at the +J stuff, and cash in on more opening day sales (like Heattech and cashmere).
PM me if there's something you'd like me to look for while I'm there. It's honestly not a great idea for most of the regular stuff - the conversion rate isn't great right now (1111KRW = 1USD) and the price of international shipping - but it might be the last shot you have at the +J stuff.

I'll try to get pictures of it later, but trying it now, it's really hard to get that color right.

It's darker than emerald, with flecks of forest green. It's almost a pure green though, with no brown and the tiniest hint of blue (definitely not as blue as the picture online looks). It's also much bolder in person.

The heat tech stuff from Uniqlo really works well!

Bought a heat tech t-shirt last year and wore it today with a jacket over.
It was quite cold about 10 degree celsius and felt warm and comfy.

    +1 for Heat tech!
