I think you should be able to make the claim that a sexless collection has no place in fashion without being called a misogynist.  Although I don't think that's what's going on with this show.

it's not that claiming sexless=misogynist , but that sexless is necessarily unattractive, and that somehow the stated purpose of women's fashion is to enhance some perceived and singular notion of sexiness, catering to this fellow's every whim.

I'm not trying to make that claim. My point was that it's not sexist or 'horrible' if someone were to say that sex and fashion are inextricably linked, it's a valid stance. I think Brad was referring to the other part of dorje's comment anyway, though.

KJ, totally agree.

I think the comments about how people would like their girls to dress as a way of expressing their personal taste. Since we (mostly) don't wear womens' clothes we frame it as what we would prefer our SO to be wearing. I don;t think there's much more to read into it than that.

Dunno yall, to say a designer should explore only a certain set of possibilities with the human figure sounds awfully boring. Reminds me of the people who think "art" just means "realistic paintings done before 1900"
