So many good sales this weekend! This was the last place I stopped yesterday. I was running late but noticed this one had opened later in the day and I hadn't seen it earlier so I peeked in. The owner said she had to mark them down to $1 from $2 ea. as they didn't sell in the previous sale last year and she was tired of setting them out. 23 pairs (Plus 1 more not pictured). All Made in the USA (1 Canada) late 70s through 80s. Levi's (several orange tab), Lee in some interesting patterns, and 1 Wrangler that looks like a Bell Bottom. At least half are Talon (and Talon 42) zippers, with one Scovil. Most are men's sizing and in great condition with no stains, but neat fades. All in for $24. I am still a bit stunned.

You can see and feel the stripes in the weave. I'm not sure what the pattern is called:

Live. Not perfect, but the price was right. They had $20 on the set for the couch, chair and ottoman. I asked if they would separate it (couch was nothing special) and they said $10 for the chair and ottoman. No way I was leaving it behind. $5 pillow set and $5 knit throw was the cherry on top. I wanted to get a shot of the $20 price tag but they pulled it off before I could get a shot

I bought one of these Lauren Writer's Chairs at auction last year and it flipped pretty quickly on the 'Bay for $5K. Even with the discoloration you'll get $3-4K, but I'd probably sling a few Ben Franklins at a leather restorer to make it mint and max out your yield. Great kop! Hard to believe it was still there . . .

I couldn’t believe the comps on this! Contemplating having a leather restoration place fix some of the small issues (a crappy repair and a puncture under one of the arms). I did clean it up with some leather cleaner and conditioner and it really came to life.

I actually had no idea what I was looking at until I looked it up. I mean I knew a leather RL piece is good no matter what, but the retail price (and resale) blew my mind. I didn’t look at it right away either. This thing was so out of place (last neighborhood where I’d expect to find something of this caliber). I saw the pillows first. Then the blanket. Walked around and then circled back to the chair. I saw the price (they initially had the couch, chair and ottoman set at $50, then slashed the price to $20). I figured at that price, it was some crappy big box furniture store special. The couch was really rough and was nothing special. The chair had a slightly different appearance and when u lifted the cushion, I knew I wasn’t leaving without it. I returned later to see if they had more furniture. Apparently their son bought a storage unit last year and this stuff was in it. Unfortunately this was the last of it and they were just blowing it out to get rid of it.

Here’s some photos after I got it home and cleaned it up a bit. Still need to give the wooden feet a little TLC.

Couldn’t believe this thing still works! I forgot to take a before photo, but it pretty grungy. It spins around when it’s powered on.

Saw this being used as a planter at a garage sale and inquired about it. I asked the woman if she would consider selling it. She told me $5 if I helped her transplant the flowers into another planter. Deal! Cleaned up nicely.

Had to grab this for my music room. Hand painted. Not sure what to call it. It’s carved out from a thin plank of wood.

It’s great when your kids enjoy garage sailing as much as you do. My son completed his book collection of his favorite series after visiting this sale.

I'm always checking the leather furniture, no dice yet, but for sure there's more out there.
Here's my contribution, not bad for a part-timer, and this was late afternoon on a Friday when everything should have been picked clean.
Gravy Seals weighted backpack, have to get in shape before the next election.
2x nwt TS cashmere with crazy retail and suprisingly great resale, nwt Scully and PRL tab side chino shorts, tucked under all that are some new Ben Silver plaid linen pants. Hanging behind everything is Susu cash.
