Went to the boutique on Madison today, suede jodhpur's were $1,090 and suede Chelsea boots were $990 if I'm not mistaken, so not far off.

Yeah it's not exciting but clearly these are not the better pieces.

I am waiting for the Paris store to open and find the runway pieces !

Guys, this is not good. The boots look exactly like what he was doing for SLP (which were awesome, of course, but are still available at SLP), with the exception of those weird ones with all the straps. I'm still very much interested in seeing better pictures, but I'm disappointed thus far.

Those patches were atrocious. Those are the type of things that the Phoebe Philo partisans will justifiably scorn Hedi for introducing into the brand. That is unacceptable. If you are trying to generate excitement for the brand (and, what else would they be trying to do by leaking photos?), why would you lead with such trash?

The patches are so bad, I almost thought it was a joke but then I recalled that Hedi's last hurrah at SLP included a lot of patches of dinosaurs et al but maybe that was his team. To OhMe's point, I'm sure there will be much better pieces available shortly. This is probably a true mistake leak.

It is clear to me that these clothes are not part of the "main" collection (runway).

It seems to be a secondary collection, like the Skinny Collection when Slimane came back at Saint Laurent (remember ?), or easy/wearable variations of the runway.

These are disappointing / boring clothes but easy sales for the house.

And although it's not crazy, this is a solid collection with far, far better pieces than above. I can't wait to try the trench coat, several leather jacket and some tailor jackets.

I will go to the new Paris store (avenue François 1er) as soon as it opens (no date yet) and will give my feelings here.

Those pics were definitely not supposed to be posted anywhere yet, so I guess that could be considered a leak. I saw a bunch of those pics a week ago (not a weird flex, just being honest), after assuring that I wouldn’t post them anywhere.
There’s a lot of other stuff that’s really nice, in my opinion, but not necessarily a huge departure from what he was doing at SLP. Some animal print tees, black and white and black and red striped tees, both short and long sleeved. I would guess that it’s purposeful on Hedi’s part, maybe to ease people who have enjoyed his past work in to Celine.
