I have a really big face and this Oliver Peoples has been good so far. But will not pay some $400 ever again.

I’d love a wait list type program, where you put your name down for a size/style/colour that’s sold out, and the next one that gets returned you get 12 or 24 hours to snatch up. If you don’t want it or miss the window, the next person in line gets it.

A waitlist would be a good idea, but i think it's too much to ask for the item to be reserved (12-24hrs) for next in line. Realistically it'd be first come first serve. Kind of like how Skoak does it. You're on a wait list and you get an email when it's available

Same here. Saw a pair of light heather gray contemp. trousers go up in my size only, which I have been looking for for months it seems. I pounced on them immediately, but was sure I’d get the “Sorry...” email. Much to my surprise, I received a “Your item has shipped...” email instead.

The English Blue is awesome. It's a very distinct blue and very saturated in colour. Works incredible with Gray, Navy, Brown and adds a pop of standout colour without screaming too loud.

The sportshirts are in a pin oxford. So a light/medium weight I would say. Appropriate for this warmer weather.

Looking for any feedback or advice on sizing. For reference, I usually wear 31 in J Crew Ludlow/Bowery Slim pants and the fit is great and 38R jacket in Ludlow Slim. I'm interested in purchasing size 32 slim trousers and 38 slim jacket from Spier & Mackay but not sure if I need to size up or look at the Contemporary fits as well. My chest measures 38.5", waist 33.5", and thighs 23". After combing through this forum I think my biggest concern with the 32 slim trousers is how tight the thighs might be. Anyone got experience with the 32 slims or how they compare to J Crew stuff?

I wear a 31 in J Crew Ludlow, and I ordered a pair of S & M Slim 33 that should be arriving today. I have 22.5 thighs and I went with 33 and I'm still unsure if they'll be too tight. I can let you know how they fit on me, though I think you'd be best going with a size 33 at least.

You need about 3" extra room at the thigh for comfort. I suggest go Contemporary or 33 Slim and nip the waist.
