Lapel would look sleeker and cleaner without that additional button hole. It's even worse when the jacket is unbuttoned.
Where’s the Penn Teller gif when you need it? Jesus Christ, you’re like a nit picking auntie on this thread lol.
I don’t adhere to the “if you don’t have anything nice to say,” camp, because that’s for whiny babies, but good lord please at least be a tad less repetitive about it.

I forgot to mention that the thick ps also adds an unnecessary bump breaking the already stiff linen lapel even further at the top. Basically the whole left lapel is a mess due to those 2 things which would have been fine if there is no tie to make the overall look too formal. I'd dismiss it if it's with a t-shirt. But that's just me, please ignore :)

Reason? Lol. You prefer a different aesthetic, which is perfectly fine. You're not the ideal audience for the CM(ish) skewing subsection of SM, which, again, is perfectly fine...but please don't act like you're espousing some sort of objective truth here. That's complete buffoonery.
Again, just a tad less repetitive, if you please.

THIS is fair, and not inaccurate. The Minnis cloth is indeed stiff, and it certainly feels it on initial wear, though the PS isn't in any way thick. As mentioned, the cloth isn't exactly forgiving on first wear, and even less so when buttoned.

My points have always been about what works with your body and age in addition to your region or environment. It's a reminder if you don't like calling it reasoning.

You're conflating two different opinions you yourself provided. The former, which was called out, was an individual aversion to 3r2 styling, which, again, is a perfectly fair preference to have. It isn't being the voice of reason. In any event, that will put a bow on my contribution to this topic. You may continue carrying on as the voice of......reason.
But if nothing else, thanks for the tacit admission that I have prominent pectorals ?
