Hm... what is this then?

I see what it is now. I clicked on the Size Chart tab on top and there's only measurements for regular cut sportcoat, in which case 38 slim's length is 29.3. I guess you got that size chart by going to the Neo jacket product page then clicked size guide.

Anyway, the sizing page needs updating as well as the MTO measurements for Neo @spiermackay

Are there more cloth options coming for the MTO trousers? Would like to get a brown glen check.

I don’t know if @spiermackay will stock what you’re looking for - but if you read the message directly before yours, you’ll see Rick was quoted listing the various fabric books currently available for the MTO program. I’m sure you can find a brown glen check in there.

Does anyone with the chocolate/dark brown herringbone from last season think there won’t be too much overlap between the new “caramel” brown herringbone? I already placed an order for the fox bros glen plaid flannel so may I don’t wanna have more brown jackets than I can wear!

For a guy who always runs warm and who just needs the odd casual sport coat, would the linen content of the Drago Brown Slub preclude it from being a year round jacket? I know linen is a summer fabric, but at 15% is that enough to have the casual observer know that I'm committing a faux pas?

I think it’d look great year round. I have a linen/silk and a silk/linen/wool that I rotate into my winter wardrobe. Nobody can tell.

I'd wear it year round if I didn't get cold so easy...mine will be bagged once the temps drop in favor of winter jackets.

@spiermackay do the HT tweed jackets fit more snug than the others on account of the heavy fabric?
That was an issue with one heavy Moon jacket a couple years ago.
anybody who bought one of the Harris Tweeds care to comment?

The b/w herringbone doesn’t fit any differently than my other jackets. That said, the fabric is obviously thicker than, say, the 1/4 lined camelhair, so it might feel slightly stiffer. That’s Harris Tweed though.

Both look awesome. Can you guys comment on the weight of each?

The HT is 500 gsm iirc, so imagine an overcoat with the bottom cut off.

Harris Tweed is one of my favorite fabrics, and I’m thrilled that S&M is offering it this year. I have 8-10 HT jackets in my closet (a couple that date back to the late 40’s/early 50’s), and they show almost no wear. The stuff wears like iron, so to get some in the Neo fit is exactly what I was hoping for.

Just curious, is there any opportunity to wear HT in Houston even in the coldest winter days? Obviously when you go in-doors, it has to come off immediately.

I live in SoCal and I run hot quite easily. Even last year's green tweed is like a bit overkill I guess for the weather here.

Really like the HT, just too concerned they will be sitting in a closet collecting dusts.
