Here are some snaps of the 'semi-bespoke' Cleverley captoes. A much less aggressive shape

Niceeeeeeeeeee. Lovely combo of shoes and socks. Not sure about trousers. Many thanks for posting
No worries. Glad I made you laugh.
Regards.
nephew,
looking good in your plain toe bal and enjoy wearing
who is maker?
Bettanin & Venturi.
I've never had the hots for square toes, but this pair is different. It reminds me of the aggressively shaped square toes of the '20s. Too bad about the soles, though; all that finishing will vanish with the first step outdoors.
Thanks ...always wondered what the standard business Bettanin looked like. You will be wearing those for a long time.
jhcam: awesome wholecut - sympathise with the high instep too! Where are they from? I love that nail detailing on the sole, even when the rest wears off. And even if it does, it's still worth it for that first time you take them out of the box, right?
i guess this is your home better...
why?
Thanks very much, Uncle - see below.
A keen eye, Issh.
Same here.
At least they'll be in the closet.
Thanks, see above. Nothing beats the first time out of the box!

Are they done in the traditional Italian fashion, IE where the topsole and welt are actually slightly MORE square than the toebox? I have a bunch of Santoni Ltd Ed that had that same thing. To lessen the effect, I had my cobbler sand the welt edge down just slightly to match exactly the shape of the toebox.
