I'm not crazy about the Varvatos boots, but I like the Shotos. Toebox maybe looks a little bulbous, but that may change once they've been broken in.

you gots to try them on (varvatos), i was sold on comfort and i know lots of ppl are questioning the look.

the shoto's toebox is a bit "bulbous" but once they are on its hardly noticeable

also picked up this shirt, found 7diamonds shirts hold up well

This is why I dislike how web shops display footwear. They usually show shoes unworn and in isolation, which gives you very little indication of what they look like as part of an outfit. Obviously some things (e.g., most Red Wings) look bulbous no matter what you do with them, but perspective helps nonetheless.

Also, I'm not a fan of that shirt.

Whaddya think of the Butteros, and how'd you size?
I'm in the process of buying too many pairs of boots, and those are on the list (albeit pushed back by a couple of other purchases, since scarcity doesn't seem to be a factor with the Butteros).
Also, your pictures automatically show up as tiny if you upload them directly to SF. You can still get normal-sized photos if you upload to an image hosting service (e.g., imgur), then paste in the link with tags (the olde-fashioned way).[/QUOTE]

I have those same ones. I went TTS but I also have a wide foot so that may have helped. They're one of the more comfortable pairs of non-sneaker shoes I own.

Ditto. I went TTS on my Buttero (Shoes not boots) and they are so comfortable. Have walked upwards of ten miles in a day in them and feet feel great. They actually feel like sneakers, but the leather is so thick. I think my shoes are calf. Love them . Plus, can't beat them for 100$

Now that I really think about it, they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I'd choose them over anything but my athletic sneakers for activities that aren't in the summer. And yes, you suck for finding those Buttero shoes for $100.

Just kinda strappy and detailed for my taste. The shoulders say western, the mini-passants say military, and I don't know what the stitching down the front of it says. The fabric also looks kinda shiny and stiff, but it's really difficult to tell with a box-fresh shirt in a catalog photograph.

I wouldn't say it's an objectively bad shirt, but it's not my taste.
