@Resoling Beautiful--where did you get these? I only see the black version on the website.

It was a MTO, I asked them via email back in december if they could make me the trafalgar in chestnut and they agreed, so I was instructed by them to just pay for the black version using the web site since back then the web site didn't have a mto section.

Who carries Paul Sargent besides AFPOS?

Seeing Paul Sargent's website and their IG channel, they still don't seem to have arrived in the modern internet world.

AFPOS has always being the place to go to for AS shoes back in the day, plus Pediwear and Herring. PS should concentrate on expanding their vendor channel, instead of trying doing E-commerce themselves.

I'd definitely say they need to do both. The extra margin you get on sales from your own channel is important, even essential in cases, for many of today's brands of welted shoes that has the same type of business model as PS.

I mean part of the appeal from AFPOS is the big discount, can’t imagine that’s a long term sustainable strategy

Nothing against AFPOS, I was very happy with their service. Of course, their inventory is quite small and I think if more vendors would carry PS, we would see more models readily available (instead of going through the MTO from PS).

Anyone had experience with PS unlined Bloomsbury loafer? Seems like a pretty decent choice in that price range with that configuration.
