way too boxy for a DB blazer....though this is the most common way ppl are using it. Give it a slim and trim cut....you'll be amazed

You can still wear a brass buttoned blazer but not the way the guy in your picture does! He looks terrible. I also disagree with bowtielover. Double breasted is fine with me.

Hi guys, new to the forum.

I was always told that the blue blazer/gray (or khaki) slacks was a classic 'biz informal' or 'IBM' look.

Am I showing my (or my Dad's) age?

I dont know how old you are but I am 20 and would wear that. I love taking outfits that are typically for older gentleman and making them my own with attention to fit and small details.

I'm 41. When I was in my 20's, I worked for the Chicago Tribune company. My Blue/Gray was a mainstay outfit. I had no idea the blue blazer went out of style. My dad always said that the blue blazer was a classic look that would never go out of style.

The DB Blazer may go in and out of style, the colour and type of the buttons may change, but the SB navy blazer, in one form or another, has always been stylish.
