Have you tried Lanieri? So far the fabrics look great - service, not so much.

I've heard good things, and looking at their site, some of their fabrics seemed outstanding. Their pricing seemed good for what they offer. I thought I'd get my measurements established with a couple of shirts before I go for a suit.

I placed my order, sent in my measurements, and got back a message asking me to confirm a few of the numbers. I sent back my reply the same day and subsequently have received 2 more emails asking me to verify the same measurements.

I replied to each with confirmations, and since have emailed the "customer care" address, the "info" address, and left a message via their website asking to confirm that they have received the measurement confirmation. I have not heard back in 10 days and my order is still listed as 'awaiting validation'.

Is there another way to contact them (other than a phone call.....my Italian is quite rusty)?

Thanks to anyone who has insight.

A couple of things to consider:

1. This weekend is Ferragosta in Italy. It's quite likely a lot of staff have taken the week off.

2. It's mid-August in Italy, any staff who haven't taken time off for Ferragosta will already be on their holidays. Things do close down at this time of year over there.

I expect they're operating with skeleton staff.

Thanks for the education! We'll see how it goes.

Just wait it out till September. Send another email, wait a week. If they don't get back, raise it as credit card or debit card dispute with your bank/credit card provider. Visa or Mastercard will then pursue it - that'll jump them into action.

No financial worries here. And customer service, when not in person, is always abysmal in Italy.
