I was in the shop about a year ago and watched both Adam and George deal with a very sniffy, snotty customer graciously and patiently. So maybe the problem isn't them?

This does not contradict the particular kind of anti-social character traits which seem to be described by disenfranchised customers here (i.e hierarchical domination).

That type of pathology does actually conform precisely to that; disrespect and abuse of those who are polite and seeking diplomatic resolution, and conversely deference and facilitation of those perpetuating it.

In that kind of relationship you can only be a perpetrator or a victim - literally a cycle of abuse.

With someone like that at the top, well; maybe you have the answer for the dwindling of good artisans sticking around?
