Just trying to get some input regarding the LBM 1911; I've never tried one on and I'm hesitant to pick one up since I won't be able to return/exchange it.

For guys that are in between sizes; would you recommend sizing up or down?

In my experience, Epaulet's Weller in a 40 is slimmer in the body and shorter in the arms / body than my LBM 1911 spearmint chinolino in 50/40. At least for me it's not enough of a difference to warrant sizing down.

Edited to add the "not" above; that was a bad word to leave out.

I'd check the measurements against a good fitting jacket before pulling the trigger. I'm typically a 36S. I have LBMs in 44EU (wool) & 46EU (washed denim). The 44 is a bit tight in the chest and I'm pretty skinny. It's not bad, but I'd probably stick with a 46 for my future LBM purchases. I hope this helps.
