I think there is enough variation to do so. Cognac shell is medium caramel brown, the tan is sufficiently orange to stand apart.

Finally some winter rain in the Bay Area, so it's time for EpauletxCarmina CXL boots.

Gents,

Would it be overly redundant to have the Inca double monk in both Cognac Calf (the tan/caramel color) and darker Cognac Shell? I have the former and an opportunity to buy the later and a good price. You know how it is...very tough to pass up.

if you have more than 15-20 pairs it wont matter. also, both pairs will be worn the same way so one pair will eventually go unworn

Hatchgrain chukkas on Simpson. First wear. I probably should have gone down a half from my normal Simpson size to account for my narrow feet a low instep, but they fit pretty well with thick socks. I've also included a couple spoilered photos that show the finishing issues with hatchgrain. I'll have to see what happen after I apply some polish.

Love those! Wish they had a 11.5UK, would have been all over them. Unfortunately no restock planned from what I heard. Maybe one day someone will sell those.

How does the Deia last fit?

Thanks for the responses - I think the Deia last is probably the least discussed last of all Carminas offerings. Also I've noticed that it's pretty hard to get good info on the Queen last .

I want Mr. Six's boots in brown pebblegrain.

Funny, one of my other pairs of ****** weather shoes is brown pebblegrain PTB's from Epaulet x Carmina. I bet if you floated that as a GMTO with Gentlemens Footwear or Skoak five others would join in.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments on the shoes!

Looking for some help from you guys. Within the last few days, I recall coming across a Carmina Suede loafer in a light color brown/tan (looked like sand?).

The interesting thing about them was (1) instead of a tassel or string loafer, they had a darker brown contrast string in an X design and (2) they were on the rain last.

I can no longer find them and was hoping someone else had seen them somewhere. I believe they were an individual MTO.

thanks for the help
