If the employees are reorganizing and buying the name, then I assume after a few weeks/months they'll be back?

None of the B&M locations in Chicago and the surrounding burbs are open.

It will be nearly 6 months since the stores have been closed so it would appear that that they’ve cashed it in.

They will still need a manufacturing facility, not to mention everything else associated with running a manufacturing business.

I didn't bother to re-read the entire thread, so what is B&M?
Thanks.

I regularly browse through the 70% off section on the website, and this weekend a number of new (old) suits and other items appeared. Some indicated they would be shipped directly from stores, which is consistent with stores being cleared out of their inventory. As I mentioned a few pages ago, a blazer I had at the Seattle store for tailoring was finally shipped to me, untailored, with no explanation. Yet they still have the "Our Stores Are Reopening" announcement on the website.

The Golden Fleece suits and overcoats are $500 which is a smashing deal.

Sorry....brick & mortar; their physical retail locations. Those in the Chicago area are closed.
Jeez . I should have known that. I lived in Chicago from '71 to '88.
was back in '03 for a visit. If I recall correctly, none of the better trad
or high style stores still exist, eg. Brittany, Mark Shale, Ultimo.
Correct?

I grabbed one of the GF suits a month or so ago for $430, but decided the styling wasn't really for me and returned (I'm too wide for skinny lapels). I hadn't considered the GF outerwear though, anything on there that you would recommend? These caught my eye:

I ordered this one. Ideally replacing a baggier linen jacket from Pvt White VC which will go to my son.

I don't need any more suits so I passed on all the GF. This coat is still at full price and looks excellent. Will wait for the inevitable price crash.

the one I had in my head is a lot more "naval", but I think if you change out the button it won't look that way
