Thanks Wes and Hans for leading this; what a great community.

My thoughts:

* I don't wear suits often, so I have way more suits, ties, dress shoes than I'll need.
* I've got a pretty full closet of outerwear as well

These things would probably get a lot of use from me ...
* Button-front shirts for the Fall/Winter. I would characterize my size as a generous Large. Some things like Zegna or Loro Piana shirts I love, but have too many Larges and 16 1/2 that don't fit and no XL that will. Other brands like RL Duluth Trading and BB I do OK in the larges.
* Simple sneakers, white or not flashy ... Samoa, Stan Smith, Gant Rugger (which I'm wearing now, but are too small), Seavees ... I'm a 11.5 - 12 on dress shoes, and 13 on most sneakers.
* Things that are new and interesting to you and might be to me
* the PoloSport/Nautica type stuff
* My clothes are mostly in the 'winter' colors -- black, white, gray, blues, red, maroon, pink, purple, teal ... browns make me look washed out

Sizes:
Chest/Suit/Coats: 45L or thereabout
Pants: 35W for casual low rise stuff; 38 for dress/higher rise ;-(
Shirts: 16 1/2 neck, more classic or generous through the middle (sometimes L or XL depending on brand)

You now know more about what I want than my wife. Seriously, I'll be happy with whatever you find/send ... so enjoy and make it fun for both of us.

I didn't see someone say it so I'll say just to be safe.

Be sure to update your profiles with sizes. Many people may not think to check here for a wish list so your profile is the next place they might look.

My Wish List
- I wear business formal-ish attire (trousers and sport coats with an occasional suit mixed in, no khakis or casual shoes) at the office, but please don't send any shirts, very rare to find a shirt at thrift that fits me. Please no ties either, I rarely wear them and thrift ones are typically too short on me. Could use some baller wool dress socks.
- Would love local coffee/beer assuming you're not in my area (Kentucky)
- Something cool to hang on my office wall (I work in the casino industry so bonus points if it has to do with gaming)

Really wanting some streetwear basics. I like plain, slim-fitting stuff that's good quality. I also like moto-inspired stuff, not torn to pieces but ribbed details, zippers, whatever. Crazy for Belstaff anything. In need of jeans in any color (gray, white, faded blue) that taper pretty narrow. My thighs are on the big side, so the fit can be tricky, but 2% elastane helps, right???

Also interested in knitwear, particularly crewneck stuff with a lot of texture. Will never say no to plain tees, long-sleeve stuff for layering, whatever.

Can be hard to thrift the stuff I'm talking about, so pocket squares are always nice too. I wear jacket and tie multiple times per week so CM is definitely a go.

Measurements in my profile.

Thanks!

I'm very excited to be a part of this gift exchange! I'll be thrilled with whatever I receive, but here's what I'm always looking for/buying/looking to buy:

-ties
-pocket squares
-watches
-good coffee
-perfume/cologne
-records (Blue Note jazz, other jazz (Miles Davis, Ahmad Jamal, Grant Green, John Coltrane, Sun Ra, on and on...), Brazilian jazz, all kinds of hip-hop (mainly instrumental - J Dilla, Madlib, etc.), Stones Throw Records, Brainfeeder Records, funk, blues, etc.
-Russian literature
-sport coats/blazers (preferably unstructured/more casual) and suits
-dress shirts in a size 17-35
-shoes

My sizing for jackets/pants/shoes is in my profile. Thanks guys!

To whoever got me. Totally into this for the fun of it so don't stress. Sizes are updated I'm my profile. I mostly wear super simple Club Monaco/Norse Projects type stuff but into all types of clothes and go to enough fundraisers/benefits to warrant dressier stuff all the time.

Things I'm looking for/always into
-like others have said, local beer/coffee that I don't see in MN (disregard if you are from MN)
-slimmish fitting pants (33/34x32) any kind. Dress/chino/denim
-OCBDs are my favorite shirts and I can never have too many
-scarves. I love em and wear them constantly
-wacky trinkets
-books (huge horror fan, fashiony coffee table books, etc)
-socks
-if you magically find any guitar pedals or drum machines and don't want to flip them to get a bunch of money, I'm way into them.
-sweatersssssss
-VHS tapes of classic 70s/80s/early-90s horror (recently set up a VHS zone on my porch and am lacking in those)

I'm easy. Even if you just feel like filling a box with Arby's coupons, I'll be like "hahaha. That's pretty funny, you lunatic."

I like anything 80's and 90's. Don't wear suits or ties ever, but am a big fan of

Vintage all-over print T-shirts. 24" pit to pit.
Vintage Simpsons stuff
Weird 80's sci-fi/horror VHS tapes
80's skateboarding stuff
90's polo/tommy
Nintendo/snes/n64 stuff
90's champion jerseys in sizes 48-52
Any vintage Nickelodeon stuff
Anything 80's movie related
Pendleton shirts in XL
Anything related to vintage mopeds
Anything 70's-80's motorcycle/dirtbike stuff
80's/90's hip hop cassette tapes
Old wrestling stuff (through attitude era wwf)
Skulls/taxidermy/oddities
80's ghetto blaster boom boxes
Vintage wayfarers
90's SnapBack caps
80's trucker hats
90's Ralph Lauren catalogs
Vintage Milwaukee/Wisconsin stuff
Wolverine/redwing boots in 10.5
80's sneakers in 10.5
Vintage packers/Brewers/admirals/bucks/badgers stuff
I'd take any 80's or 90's t-shirts/crewneck sweatshirts you can find too, in any size.

To quote @My Main Man, "To whoever got me. Totally into this for the fun of it so don't stress". I will be happy with whatever you find - just glad to be taking part again this year!

That said I do have a couple things I've been looking for which would be awesome -

- Selvedge denim in my size would be amazing (anytime I thrift some, it's been made for a much younger smaller version of myself)
- Wallet/cardholder
- Exotic leather anything (belt - prefer silver buckles generally, wallet, whatever)
- White sneakers (like CP's in terms of style), or running sneakers. I tend to run an 11.5-12 in sneakers, unlike dress shoes where I'm normally a 10.5-11 EE+
- High quality coffee table books (would prefer classic cars or fashion related topics - that LV trunk book that was posted recently in the thrift thread is awesome - as an idea/reference point)
- Anything shell cordovan
- Shoe care products (ie polish/brushes, etc)
- I've also got an affinity for anything Cucinelli

Outside of clothing related pieces, I'm also into vintage cars (1930's to 1970 muscle car era), and skeet/trap shooting.

All I would ask, is please no ties, already have 150+ in my personal collection, and don't have room for any more. Thanks in advance! Once again, please don't stress!

So quick question when are we supposed to have these things sent out?

^This is correct! Postal systems are slow this time of year and people get busy. You're free to open/post your gift whenever you like.

Hey guys! I don't get to post on the thrift thread much anymore, but I do keep up with it. I'm always glad when Hans & Wes put this thing together.

I don't wear suits much, though I do wear sport coats often. Anything in 40 R/S would be welcome. I need wool dress pants (3 season or similar) in 33x29 and a pair of burgundy dress shoes (captoes, for example) in 9D.

Finally, some things I like:
Manchester United
St. Louis Cardinals
comics
American history
beer (stuff I can't get in the Chicago area)
music (mostly rock)

Thanks, again, for putting this together! I can't wait to see what everyone gets.

To whoever got me. I usually wear SW/not much denim heh. Mostly muted colours, at the moment mostly black/grey. As a swede I have a rather minimalistic style, a huge fan of Our Legacy, Stone Island and I love most japanese brands that do tech/outdoorsy stuff, also updated sportswear. Im a tiny guy, size S in most stuff, even XS if not too slimfitted (both tops and bottoms).
Due to loosning alot of weight lately I have to update my measurements in my profile. I dont use suits/sc/ties, like ever..

I like:
-hoodies
-jackets (tech/function)
-sour ale
-black pants allways needed
-tshirts

I hope Im not too painful to pick stuff for, I do this because its fun so im happy with anything.

Whoever got me, I'm pretty easy.

If you're lost though, here's some ideas:

- 60's rock records. Hendrix, Zeppelin, Cream, Kinks, etc. The weirder, the better.
- 60's hippie stuff. Black lite posters, underground comix, underground newspapers, etc. I never see this stuff in thrifts, but you never know.
- SW&D stuff. Jeans, shirts, jackets, boots, etc. Size L or slim XL. True 36 waist. Size 10.5 D shoes.
- Luggage. Been after a nice canvas/leather weekender bag or something I can use for a carry-on.
- Bold pattern sport coats in 42 R.
- Cool outerwear.

If no dice on the above, some eBay fodder will work too. Vineyard Vines, Robert Graham, etc.

Please, no ties. I have a hanger full and I wear a tie maybe once every 2 years.
