Was at Holt Renfrew Last Call - Vaughan Mills and saw a couple items that may be of interest

RLPL Cashmere Sports Coats in a brown glen plaid for about $450. Only have a Size 40 and 38 left.

A few Brioni suits in a navy blue nailhead(I think that is what the pattern is called) for about $1500. I saw the suit in a few sizes.

Just thought I would drop a line to everyone. I was in my local AE store yesterday and they had some discontinued styles on the 0 last for 149.00! If you wanted seconds, they can get them in to your store for 119.00.

Here are some of the models off the top of my head that are available:

Soho- black and cognac
Evanston- black and walnut
Melrose- Black and walnut
Bel Air- black and walnut (these are actually 149 as seconds)

I am thinking of picking up the evanston or melrose in walnut given the prices and the fact that my grenson hayden's I ordered from GILT are not exactly tan but orange in color.

Happy hunting...

I think the "right" answer would be the Soho; Evanston's broguing makes it less formal. Realistically, though, I don't think it really matters.

I own both, actually they're my only black shoes. The Soho is pretty plain and to the untrained eye could look like any ol' captoe. The Evanston has a little more pop from the Brogueing but it's not really that pronounced on black. With cognac you can really see the details but with the black it just blends in. IMO the Evanstan is a little more special without being flashy. Do note though, in my case, I found the Soho's more comfortable because at the point where the shoe bends for my toe, the plain cap bends easier while the brogued one feels a little thicker/stiffer somehow.

If anyone's looking for a black Evanston 7.5 for around $100 gently used PM me.

do you mind sharing which store you called?

Were they charging you the 50 buck fee to ship to Canada?
