It will take a week or so to get the fabric, so no problem if you need some time to decide on the sizing and styling.

Hey guys!

Apologies for the lack of updates, I've been working like crazy this past week in Rochester. I'm going to roll out a collection of promo fabrics for all of our shapes this week. Three notes on this:

1) As you might know, RTC changed it's ownership last year. This made things a bit chaotic with both production and fabric inventory. They moved a bunch of equipment internally to consolidate their workflow. My apologies to anyone who faced delays last year, but we plan to be on track to be on time with all shipments in 2024.

2) Although a lot of promo fabrics went away with the changeover, a lot of them became available. More than I've ever had before and more than I can launch at one time. I have AMAZING stuff. I'm going to start with the heavier weight goods as we can still deliver before the start of Spring.

3) The pricing on these fabrics is great. Not only that... we're up against a significant general price increase on 2/15. So any orders you place between now and 2/15 will not only get this promotional pricing, but the lowest promotional pricing that we'll ever offer.

This push is intentional on RTC's part. Late Jan to mid-Feb is a fairly slow time for production and they'd love to fill the line up with new work and turn lots of fabric inventory into clothes. It's a great opportunity to take advantage of that and get some boss new clothing at an awesome price.

4) We have a new overcoat shape that many guys have been asking for. May I introduce the RTC Balmaccan! There won't be time to get the sample shot on a model, so these are going to be the pics we present. I'll have full measurements online. The belt is removable:

Did they do production at Hickey Freeman? If so then we might if you want to tell me a specific size and model.

If not, we can also do a made to measure version of one of their jackets

I do not know who made their clothing. I believe that it varied among the natural
shoulder makers like Southwick. The model I am interested in is their more fitted
one with darts and sometimes side vents. When I next visit NYC I'll contact you in
advance. The jacket(s) I have will have to be sized up if that is possible. I am in CA.

So we do offer a beautiful Sack jacket called the "Princeton." It's a more fitted Ivy-style jacket that's typically made a center hook vent, 3-roll-2, and no darts. It can be done half or full canvas. It has a natural shoulder.

You can certainly tweak that by adding darts and choosing side vents. We can do 2 or 3 buttons at the cuff as desired.

I'm actually in California as well.. my showroom is in Redondo Beach, about a 15 minute drive from LAX. I do in-person fittings, but about 95% of my work is done entirely remote. You can take basic measurements of a jacket you own and we can do a quick 15 minute video call. I'm very skilled at seeing exactly what you need. Even if your jacket is too small, we can figure out what changes will improve the fit.

Last season, I sourced a beautiful Olive Sateen cotton from Japan. This is military reproduction fabric with an incredibly soft hand and smooth finish.

I knew it would make for some boss custom trousers. There was enough for about 10 units, and they sold through quickly.

The first makeups just arrived, and they're even *better* than I anticipated. Huge thanks to everyone who ordered! It's hard to show the real character of cotton twills in photos, but these are really exceptional. I hope that you guys love them!

Woven in England by Hardy Minnis, this stunning pure wool is lightweight, breathable, and crafted with natural stretch.

Often called "Balloon hopsack" due to its airy nature, this super high-twist yarn has a remarkably open weave. It's opaque when you wear it, but hold it up to the light and you'll see its mesh-like structure. It's wrinkle resistant and makes a great travel companion.
