I think it's better cuffed than non-cuffed, although I think in any case more tapered jeans would be more flattering on a guy with your body type. Generally, I'm not much of a fan of all-black outfits myself.

edit: or if you're going to do all-black, silouette is key, and everything has to fit top-notch.

Hah, I'm just standing normally. Scowling at the sound of neighbors in the distance.

All of my other jeans are slimmer and/or more tapered; if I had it to do over again I'd probably not get the S500BKs. But there's an extent to which it was an instance of being misled by internet fit pictures; smaller waist sizes have the same shape, but end up much narrower around the ankles. Now I'm a lot more familiar with that effect, and adjust accordingly by, as you say, going with taper. But I like the Samurais as physical objects, so I'm trying to work out the best way to wear them. (Though, honestly, if I thought I could sell them for a reasonable amount I'd do it.)

The all black thing is just how it goes; I know it has deficiencies. I've cautiously decided that I might experiment with some shades of gray and see how uncomfortable it makes me.

Dude, you're a high school junior, you shouldn't care about a bunch of strangers on the internet flipping out about your pocket stitching. I'm sure that the high school girls around you compliment pretty positively on the way you dress.

I can see why brands listed would be helpful, but for me I don't think brands really matter. I prefer to have someone focus on the silhouette, colors, and aesthetic displayed rather than brands. This not only keeps cheaper brands from being misjudged or discriminated upon, but also higher end brands from being hyped for name alone.

But see, this thread is about more than just flaunting your steez and contributing to SoCal's spankbank. It's also for the benefit of people- particularly newbs and lurkers- who are looking to add interesting pieces to their own wardrobes.

I mean, if you don't list your brands, how will newbs know what jeans to look for next time they're in PacSun?

My mom bought me my JNCO's at Hot Topic, thank you very much! I'm the half nude guy at the front door spraying cologne in the air. Just say you're after the goods and my glistening body will lead you where you want to go.

Figured I'd add a new poster to the WAYWT's mix. Nothing too inspired or special, but F it, here you go:

PG, you will not need seersucker when you come back here.

It's cold, and I'm in freaking queensland.

Yeah, I second that, my friend is up there now with his misses for a holiday (not sure why he picked now) and he's had cold miserable weather all week, here in melbourne it was a pleasant 2*C (36*F) in the morning.
