It generally craps outside and also doesn't bark all bleeping night... On the other hand. it is just waiting for you to stop moving so it can dine. That's is why it snuggles up to you to see if you are cold yet. They are also bad news for rodents. Hardly anyone is killed by vicious house cats.

Cats are like women.

I want to get a Scottish Fold eventually.

When I do, I have no doubt that all my time will be devoted to making LOLcat pictures of it.

Too bad. Poor kitty. But that is pretty old for a cat. My "family" had a cat. I am pretty sure they trained it to bite me...

Scottish folds are notoriously very mellow cats. Wonderful cats.

My gf is planning on getting one too! Here's our previous Turkish Angorra. He was deaf.

^It looks, then, like she is accustomed to shedding! If you can take it, ragdolls are great cats and a lot of fun. But, it really is shedding taken to a new level... I've never seen anything like it and be prepared to have everything you own covered.

Are they as doglike as I hear them to be? I heard they just flop in your arms when you pick them up - does yours do that?

He's gotten so huge that picking him and flopping him around is almost impossible (haha), but yes, he just flops around in your arms or anywhere he sits/lays. But, they are very doglike and hilarious... for example, we've all had to kick him out of our rooms at night, because he likes to sleep on your head. You have to watch opening the refrigerator... because he loves to jump in there. We bought some slippers in the shape of cats just as a joke, thinking he'd want to play with them... and he thinks they are real cats and is terrified of them.

And, he rarely sits like a normal cat... instead, he always sits like the Scottish Fold above.

I mostly consider them my wife's/family's pets more than my own, but.... We moved here four years ago with one cat, and now we have SIX (all indoor-only!). Plus there is an outdoor feral cat that seems to have adopted us in the past year, as well as another friendly one that visits often and spends days at a time on our deck.
