I've only used the current edp formulation, which I like quite a bit. I've heard the edp and extrait are very similar, but the edt I smelled seemed like a different scent. I think it is pretty easy for a guy to wear this, and compared to how feminine many perfumes are today, it seems pretty unisex.

Coco edp today.

Swung by Saks yesterday and picked up samples of the new Maison Martin Margiella and Prada Amber Homme Intense. Wearing the Prada today - I think its a winner. Big vanilla opening but dries down to amber and sweetness. Very nice.

Try Creed Orange Spice. Not floral, stinky, and huge longevity. I could detect it 24 hrs after applying. Smells pretty good too.

I've actually been debating picking up a bottle of the OS...

Rancid stink... or what?

Today: Monsieur de Givenchy. I like it in a classical sense, and it IS nice, but it's not compelling to me. In other words, I hardly wear it without some sort of prompting.

Bitter orange stink. I wore it to work and nobody said anything. It demands your attention. I bought 2.5ml from a guy on Cyrstal Flacon, but I am pretty sure Perfumed Court has it as well.

NGELIQUES SOUS LA PLUIE today. Another wonderful dreamy scent by JC Ellena for Fredric Malle. I am a sucker for biting green scents like quality vetiver, but in this case it is angelique. Why does JC insist his scents can last only 30 mins? It is so short lived I can't find a base note

At least it lasts a long time. Depends - do you want to smell like dried fruit in the heat?
