I'll throw Balmain Monsieur onto the citrus (lemon) pile, which is usually obtainable very cheaply. There is also Marc Jacobs Lemon splash (one of those giant 250ml jobs, which is decent for the money and has been at TJMaxx/Marshall's for $19.99), CdG Series 3: Citrico, and Creed Bois de Cedrat.

Creed Neroli Sauvage, Cartier Declaration, Guerlain Flora Nerolia.

Classic colognes like Guerlain Imperial, Cologne Sologne (PdN), etc. are also citrus-based. You could even get a gallon of that 4711 stuff, which lasts about 7 minutes, but is fun for at least 6 of them. (haha)

Speaking of citrus-based (but not really niche), today it's Terre d'Hermes. Another one that I hardly wear, it's solid and nice, but the lack of animal notes kinda makes it one-dimensional.

Clinique Happy for Men. It's bright, sunny, and almost 70 degrees outside.

    Haters gonna hate.

    Today it's Frederic Malle Outrageous!

I liked this for the summer, except my skin seemed to develop an allergic reaction to it. I might give it another shot.

Taking advantage of the snowy weather to wear Michael Kors today.

PS To the poster looking for citrus, Outrageous! has a sweet lime citrus feel to it.

It's really quite a lovely layering experience... it retains the leather/citrus spice of the Hermes, but brings in the darker, sort of smutty musk. Really quite lovely. Take that, you MKK fans! [IMG] I managed to get smut and funk without resorting to either civet OR cumin. [IMG]

It feels wintery today, so I went with Hermes Equipage again. Hopefully this season will end soon.

    Ungaro III for me

Which formulation do you have? I've got the third one (I think), and I find that it's entirely different from what I've heard (gothy rose). I like it a lot anyway, but it wasn't what I expected.
I was actually on the verge of choosing Ungaro III today, but chose Urban Musk at the last minute.

The reformulation, unfortunately. It was a blind purchase as it was only $25 for 100ml, but I was expecting a rose/sandalwood oriental. Instead it is a light and simple floral/fruity fougere. Which is OK, but I prefer more complexity. I would love to turn up the woody basenote somehow. Apply it with some sandalwood scent?

Speaking of which, I would like to try some more sandalwood scents (other than Etro Sandalo). Any recommendations SOTD'ers?

How about Wonderwood? Speaking of which -- tonight it's Comme des Garcons 2
