While it may be expensive, its a great looking bag and I'm a total sucker for a good duffel, though it looks a little bohemian esqe for my taste.

Awesome bag, but a tad overpriced.

Brunello Cucinelli does not play around as far as quality is concerned, but the Varvatos is more attractive.

I think the Varvatos is quite nice, but $1400 is expensive for a duffelbag.

I agree. The average person would think the Varvatos is "cooler" The Cucinelli looks like something that could ALMOST be mistaken for a 1978 $3 garage sale handbag or a bag found at Target or Walmart. That would never happen with the overpriced Varvatos

Here's an option which beats both.

^^ Thats nice, which company and what price ?

I would say both the Varvatos and BC are overpriced since the retail of the BC would have been arround 4000 USD.

It's SAB. Mind you, SAB is "overpriced" in itself, the fact that it represents a better value than these other bags should tell you something.

It is so underpriced, you should by five, then give four of them away.

The full leather SAB is $1700. SAB and Papworth have plenty of options between $800-2000. Come on, $1500 is not chump change, you really think you are lacking choices??? the combo canvas option is $1000 even.

This thread made me wonder if SF thinks any product is worth the full retail ?
