On a somewhat random note... Has anyone else ever noticed just how wonderful EG clothing smells when it's new?

It's really hard to describe! They smell old but not musty, like they were washed in a wonderful smelling detergent. I've had stuff over the last few weeks from several different shops and they all smell the same.

I always appreciate NEW item odors, but most of my clothing seems relatively unscented. Except for J. Crew. Everything I get from the J. Crew near me seems to have a distinctive, somewhat musty + cedar odor. It isn't entirely unpleasant, but it isn't something I would seek out either.

^^^The herringbone arches are very wide and have a rather deep/raised texture. It's not as subtle as you'd expect from herringbone, but because it's white on white it's toned down a little. I like the pattern a lot and hopefully it's used in other shirts.
