Thank you! That's helpful, if only to further demonstrate to me that sizing for my first MTO with Yeossal will be fraught with uncertainty.

Seems like experiences have varied widely. Would you say you have an "average" instep? It appears that those with higher ones (generally) size similarly to Meermin and Carmina...

all I can say is, trickers have almost too high instep for me (I have 2 pairs) while crocket and Jones 325 tassel loafers I tried in store had painfully low instep... I have no idea if it's average?

Hmm I'm not experienced enough to say, based on that description but I do appreciate the input!

so the question for you all... compared to yc3.. does any last has narrower heel and lower instep so I could size up?

If you ask, Yeossal can modify a last for you that has a lower instep. It incurs I think a S$40 or so upcharge, but they can modify any last that otherwise fits you so as you are only making that single change. I asked about narrowing a heel previously and was told that was not possible, however.

Went out for a 1h walk... all I can say narrowness doesn’t bother me a bit! No break-in required for heel! Leather is butter soft and quite thin which is a trade off I think! Best heel cup I’ve ever had! However toe stiffeners took some skin off the top of my toe joints... I have a pair of meermin that does that even after 3 seasons, I’m pretty sure that means shoe is too short for me... however I really don’t want to size up because current heel size is perfect! I would really like sg65 for next pair and yeossal suggested wide fit same size...

"My guess is, b quality, seing as it’s a sale/return.. "

Would expect so too - you can see a couple of creases on the toe box and perhaps some slight scuffing on the side of the far shoe. Either scuffed in transit or simply tried on enough to start creasing before being returned.

Nothing significant. Nothing that wouldn't happen within a week of receiving them anyway - but I guess it's important to some people to be the one to do that to them.
