I would have gotten insulted if he wanted to see for himself if he left his money in your room even after you told him he hadn't. BUt even then, these things happen and you shouldn't be so damn sensitive.

What was his screen name? I want to read his thread about if he should be upset. It probably looks something like this:

Hey, I have been hanging out with this really nice guy. In Dubai, I went to his hotel room and had my money out. I then noticed I did not have my cash. I saw him the next morning and asked if I left my money in his room. You know, kind of meaning can you take a peak when you get back up there if there is a way you would not have noticed. Then, he replied "no, but if you had I would have told you before you asked me, don't you think?" I was surprised, I meant nothing by it more than I thought I had maybe left it there and it went unnoticed. Now he thinks I think he is a thief. what should I do? I was really taken back by the comment and even though he has helped me immensely, I am kind of lost and puzzled by why he turned it around so much and got mad at me.

I still want to be friends with him, and again, appreciate his help a lot. Should I apologize? But I did not do anything wrong. I think maybe he should apologize to me and let me know he was in a bit of a bad mood and knows that it was not my intention or thought to accuse him of having it and not telling me.
