I've been wearing versions of this combination quite a lot lately, I think it's a very practical casual look that doesn't look ordinary.

Please excuse the lift selfie.

PWVC Bridge Coat, Saman Amel cashmere rollneck, Blackhorse Lane denim and Edward Green boots. On sunny days, I'd swap out the indigo denim for some ecru and wear suede loafers instead of boots.
