New shorts. Nice and slim. The shirt and the shorts are both blue oxford. I've been wanting to try the whole sport coat and shorts thing all summer. I imagine a white shirt would look better, but I thought this was more fun.

Shorts need external buttons on the fly to continue the look of the shirt. :)

I was thinking Garanimals. For those of you who are too young, this was a brand of children's clothing in the 80's that had little animals on them and you matched the animals to coordinate your outfits. This usually wound up with a kid wearing green shorts with a green shirt.

I love it when my girlfriend throws punches. Helps me realize things some times.

Shorts work better for you than most, I think. Looks good, man. Even with the SC, which I expected not to like. Not a style I would rock but I wouldn't be embarrassed to stand next to you.

If #menswear where mafioso rap you would be the Clipse. Yeah every rapper is rapping about coke... But they don't rap about coke THIS WELL...

Fortunate then that he's wearing an odd jacket and trousers!
High water trousers do not look good in a suit setting.

Luckily, I don't have to adhere to a dress code. I mostly post in this thread because it's fun.

Oddly enough, my trousers are only hemmed a half inch above what would be no break. Before settling on how I hem most of my pants, I tried different lengths and found one I enjoyed. I'm also on the shorter side (5'9"), so a slightly shorter trouser, mixed with a good rise, helps elongate my frame. That said, I see a lot of dudes in New York with the tightest/highest pants on earth. It definitely doesn't look good.

Hey, it's your thing. Do what makes you happy. My personal taste doesn't matter when it comes to what you want to wear. :)

But that does look far past half an inch of no break. Like two inches. Maybe just camera angle or pose.

Coincidentally, I wore pretty much the exact same thing two years ago (yes, my stuff is old)

The coat isn't as shiny as the flash makes it look here.
