Yeah, they're definitely not skin tight around the ass/thigh area, but taper pretty hard. Fit is spot on for a grey flannel trouser in my opinion. Don't really want a flannel trouser to be skin tight around the thigh.

Does anyone have an epaulet rivet chino and a unis chino to compare? I am a 33 in Rivets and I just measured my pair and they are 34". Does that mean I need to size up to a 34 in the gio?

Others may disagree but I have found the UNIS Gio (regular, not skinny/dressy) to be the most TTS fitting trouser I've owned. I would say if the EP measure 34 and you like them, go for 34 in the Gio's.

I'd agree with this.

Though I do not consider the regular Gios slim, they are straight, the Epaulet Rivets fit slimmer than the Gios. That and the Gios definietly open up some after a few wears, whereas the rivets still seem to fit the same.

I love me my Gio's, own about 6 pair, but I have been leaning towards my rivets lately.

So just to clarify, you guys are saying 33 in the rivets = 34 in the gios, right? Size up one from Epaulet?

Got my first pair of Unis Gio's a month ago and just ordered my 2nd. Love the fit. Perfect rise and taper down the leg. Even the inseam is just the rig length for me. Couldn't be happier.

Paid under $100 for both, but could see myself buying a pair in the future at full price.

UNIS has some really interesting stuff. Hard to find retailers who carry a wide selection though..

Unis has 27 in Gio Skinnies now. I'm a 28 TTS, but I still need to wear a belt when I wear pants in sz 28. I wear a 25 in APC NS. Should I get the 27 or 28 in Unis Gio skinnies?
