Chocolate brown birdseye:
Will it work for an odd jacket?
It's called sharkskin. "Pick by pick" is pedestrian.
I love know-it-all 18-year olds. Of course, the simple notion that the Brits use a different term rather than the one used at PS MTM hasn't occured to them yet.
Why don't you spend a few more rambling posts talking about how PS MTM is really "bespoke" and then back-tracking? That was fun.
P.S. - Its Pick AND Pick and not Pick by Pick.

Also remind me never to have anything made by Paul Stuart MTM. I would hate to be served by pedantic, snobby, know-it-alls, like dear Paolo. Definitely not a good advertisement for PS MTM services.
Looked it up online and it appears you are right. I really like it, I'm not a fan of loud sportscoats and mine tend to be solids but this really gives a nice amount of texture and keeps it from looking like a suit jacket. I'd be stoked if I could find it in navy. EDIT: http://www.styleforum.net/forum/thread/125003/barleycorn#post_2188705 EDIT: Minnis has some barleycorn on their website but it's in their Harris tweed range. What I have is a wool/cashmere mix, definitely smoother and less nappy than tweed. That looks like a barleycorn weave. I've usually seen it in tweeds, but Harrisons has a couple flannels that look similar.
... "Pick by pick" is pedestrian.
WTF does this even mean in this context?
