Quick update. There is a production delay on the navy and dark grey Rangoon runs. I am trying to get a new delivery date for them and will post it here as soon as I get more details. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
At this point, we're not going to need the suits until April at the earliest.

Anyone have any real world experience or pictures of this fabric? Heck, at this point has anyone even seen other pictures of it?

Smith Solaro. I've not seen that color, which is new. But the actual Solaro quality is quite nice.

Yeah, I found it there while browsing for a blue. I *really* like the color but can't seem to find any examples of it anywhere. At this rate, I might be the first to commission it.

Could be. Their photos are better than at Minnis, but not infinitely reliable.

Off to Napoli. Green and brown are heavy brushed twill cottons and white is moleskin. Gunclub is an old Minnis Lambswool.

I'm looking to make a pair of traditional flat front chinos with a 4-5 cm cuff, similar to these.

I would like a heavier fabric to allow the trousers to keep some of its crease and wrinkle less. I'm consider Brisbane Moss Keats (400GSM) and Brisbane Moss Tennyson (290GSM). Anybody here have chinos in any of these fabrics?

Got a few crazy cloth ideas for winter Pitti. Here are the contenders:

For a DB check, I'm thinking either of these:

465g 100% wool

or

420g woolen flannel

Nothing too crazy about those qualities. Just be sure you like the patterns.
Have you looked in the back of the Dugdale Fearnaught book?

If you ever get a sample of that blue solaro, let me know. I may be interested in doing another one. I really like solaro for shoulder season and I created a blue one by ordering the green and having it made inside out. I’m curious how this true blue one looks.

Should be a busy fall/winter of taking advantage of the current FX rate.

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.

  • Often - I frequently consider sustainability, but it isn't the main factor in my decisions.

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
