And the beautiful thing about the cloth I posted is: it seems to be brown, but the closer you look the more colors it reveals. The Bateman and Ogden seems to be much simpler.

Im the same but when you go through two pairs of flannel trousers within 3 years you start to question the price of trousers.

Imo, the Civic of pants are wool/poly blends by Gurteen. They have flannels and cavalry twills in a few different colors but only flat front. I've had a pair of the cavalry twills for a few years and they're robust. They're great for cool, wet weather. The poly makes them very water resistant and machine washable. If I lived somewhere cold and rainy/slushly, I'd live in them. The fit is pretty traditional, not slim. Medium weight.

Does anyone have any experience with Stylbiella fabrics? It appears to be a Chinese merchant sourcing Italian fabrics. Pricing is very reasonable compared to importing from European merchants when working with Asian factories. They have some attractive wool/silk/linen blends for sport coats, but I cant feel any swatches.

I've not been particularly impressed by what I've seen made up from their offerings.

Not really. Although you might feel the urge to leave open the possibility of wearing short sleeved shirts in the summer.

Depends on the weave and color. There are blazering baratheas and I have had three piece barathea suits from abraham moon barathea and I would use most mohair baratheas as regular suitings. Bateman ogden have blazering baratheas

No idea if the Italians can be trusted with tweed of that sort, but gorgeous colors!

I have several suits in heavy linen, and asked my tailor if he cut them any differently from my worsted suits. He replied that he used my usual measurements.

I've decided to have a jacket made up in the Minnis Mock Leno that a lot of people here are very fond of.

Just trying to decide between the darker 510244 which is more of a classic navy, and 510243, which is the slightly lighter shade.

I know a few people here have had these cloths made up - any input?

Have made out both. 510243 is not navy but blue. I would say closed to royal blue than to navy.
