1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Is there really anything more perfect than herringbone tweed?

Get a brown and also a grey herringbone tweed jacket and you're all set for A/W :)

Sugarbutch and TTO are killing this thread!

I just picked up my new MTM coat by S. Cohen. 2-button, side vents, patch pockets. It's still too bloody warm here to wear it, but any day now...

I lost my photo account, and with it all of my WAYWRN pics. Otherwise, I would add some up from days of old. Still too hot for tweed. Let me see if I have any pics saved.

ON EDIT: I do have these....

It's almost cold enough to get out my Dashing Tweeds 3-piece for the first time... this is all really making me want to do it! Good stuff.

TTO, I lost all of my pics of the Nutter. Still have the suit though. If it gets cold enough this winter, it goes on.

The first part of next week is predicted to be in the 90's. Tweed weather won't hit SoCal until November, at least, dammit!

That's a very nice jacket SB, but can you post full fit pics? It's always good to see trouser and shoe pairings :)

Thank you. Fit pics are more of a logistical challenge, but I do snap them when I get a chance. In this case, med/dark gray flannel trousers with oxblood captoe oxfords.

I agree. There is nothing like having a tweed jacket in your collection. I would be incomplete without it.

That Cantarelli is a wonderful piece of cloth. I find leather elbow patches applied before the elbows wear out affected (even though I own a coat that came that way) but it certainly is luscious cloth.
