Ok I’ll do as you suggest I’ll still new to add water when polishing, won’t I?.
Does wet lesther feel rougher at touch?
It does, yes.
You don't -need- to add water to polish, but if you do add water, just use a drop or two.

If you’re feeling really impatient you can heat gun your shoes (the spots that you’re waiting on) for like little 2-5 second intervals. Be careful though, the leather can get burnt so small, short, and targeted heating is bestHere are some pics

Worse, it's stupid. Maybe he meant a hair dryer not a heat gun. I'm searching hard for a benefit of the doubt here. Great care must be taken even with the dryer.I believe this is unwise to do.

You might be better off using saphir dubbin, mink oil, macademia, etc. For the conditioning properties, Saphir is easier to get I believe.Where do you buy your Obenauf’s in the EU?
I have only managed to find one place - Iron Heart Europe - they want €30 for shipping the smallest 4 oz tub.
For those of you who have had topy soles added on, Does it make much difference to grip, insulation a more bouncy feel when walking ?
Am thinking of getting them on my pair of Loake Burfords boots. They currently have leather soles.
