A bit surprised the Permanent Style Donegal overcoat wasn’t mentioned. I bought the one last winter (brown) and it is my favorite coat. They just came out with a grey herringbone for this winter.

I checked yesterday, but it looks like it's sold out? I wasn't able to find a live product link for it.

On the topic of overcoats, big recommendation for this one that wasn't mentioned in the post:

Hmm, technically it is an OVER coat, but not an overcoat in how most people would think of one.

To me, an overcoat is roughly a long coat that reaches to at least the knee. Often can be of a heavier weight.

That is a nice coat though, sort of like a winter field coat in raglan sleeves. I'd definitely wear it.

Forget whether it was this thread or another thread where a few months ago the grey Beams Plus patchwork coat was discussed but looks like it's not a Bergdorf exclusive anymore?

SSense & Totem both currently have it (Totem also has 20% off on it which is really tempting). Now Beams need to remake the brown version.

Good looking out. Totem also has another Beams Bal that is multi-tonal it looks like. More of a true "Go To Hell" patchwork coat. A bit much for me, I prefer the ones that are roughly the same tone.

It’s funny that when they first made the OG version of that coat years ago, no one wanted anything to do with it. Found mine on a deep sale rack at Merci in Paris (not exactly an obscure place) and every size was there. Fast forward 2 or 3 years and it became a darling of street photographers and the likes … ??‍♂️

Howdy Greg, I think you mentioned you were going to be stocking the De Bonne Facture Grandad coats? If so, which colors, and when?

That pic is from your link?

The pic you linked is both from my link but also a photo of a coat from a previous season. The current version is noticeably longer. You can see many examples is the last few pages of the SEH Kelly thread.

Wow, it is sold out - that’s crazy fast. Last year they also sold them through Private White VC so that may end up being an option for folks.
