I like the Celine monogram travel bags but wouldn't use one. As for LV the monogram stuff is terrible, but some of the plainer items look pretty nice and simple. This for example I would consider as I need a holdall and there's nothing nice from Celine, Saint Laurent etc at the moment:

I have a beat up vintage LV monogram keepall which I really like tbh, but I think a brand new one wouldn't be cool

I was gifted the dark grey monogram keepall. I probably wouldn’t buy it for myself, but have to admit it’s a wonderfully constructed, beautiful and very useful bag. I feel like every footballer has one. Love the all-black one Kieran posted.

Last night I noticed that there was a lot of Celine at the Mr. Porter sale, most of it unweareable zoomer gear, but also some knits and trousers from TKP, etc. Looked again a couple of hours ago to see that everything had been pulled, weird.

I think it coincides with Celine sales. When the Celine website had the winter sale, Mr. Porter (at least the US store) also had a sale for their Celine products. When I noticed Celine ended their sale, Mr. Porter also took down the Celine products from their sale as well.

Sales are still on on the french website but they only offer the Desigual items.
Was it the same items for the US sales ?

No sales of any kind at the Finnish web site, hence I didn't know about this co-ordination thing. 24s also took down all the Celine they had at their sale.

It's weird cos as someone pointed out to me earlier, the sale is back on the UK mrporter site (despite it having been removed from the official site).

Aside from that it does seem there is some level of collusion between mrporter/celine regionally (sales being one, but also when new stuff drops, and sometimes the stock allocation between mrporter and what bond st purport to have in).

Edit - was keeping tabs on the sale cos I was tempted by this but even going down to size S I think the fit wouldn't be as I'd like it:

I wonder what the reasoning is then, US Mr Porter still doesn't have items on sale any longer

I almost miss the days when the Celine webstore was super weird. For instance, one day everything would be on sale, then the next day, nothing, some days it wouldn't load correctly, or 100% of the items would say get notified but you could place them in your cart anyway, etc.

What do you think about these tees in sale at 40% discount exclusive of Mr Porter (not available in official website)?
Black, Red or both?
And you would prefer an adherent or relaxed fit like the model?
I am tall 1,75 cm x 65 kg so I don’t know if buy the XS or S.

The XS is not oversized seeing the measurements but it seams very adherent.

Celine sales in particular have been really, really underwhelming. I think there was an article posted in the "discussions on the fashion industry" thread that argued that high end brands might be tempted to go back to the heavy discount at the end of the season model to move stuff.
