Suitsupply Europe had some significant price increase yesterday ..

Some Lazio jackets went from 249 EUR to 299 EUR .. The wool t shirt I bought for 59 few days ago went to 69 overnight ..

Around 20% increase .. I guess that's the real past year inflation in the world anyway ..

Odd, it didn't affect everything. Shame that shirts and popovers were bumped up to 99 euro. This is the second price increase in a few months, and suddenly doesn't look like good value anymore...

At least a hundred fabrics were just removed from the designer...

Hope they weren't removed permanently.

edit: they are back.

See that they’ve raised prices again.. I’ve noticed on the last few orders I’ve placed the product consistently doesn’t seem what it used to be either. Ive returned all of them.

A bit sad to see… I used to love SS, but like life… things change.

I was on the US SS website a few days ago and everything was the same was the same. Just double checked and prices went up again. There were a few suits (one of which I bought) that were $359 when first placed on the site...then went up $399 a few months ago and are now $449. Incredible.

My only SS MTM suit cost me just north of $800. It came out great and I'm quite happy with the fit and fabric. At that price, though, they're playing in the same territory as places like Oliver Wicks, Black Lapel (their good stuff), and even Lanieri's lower-end MTM suits.

When you throw in the worst customer experience I've ever had anywhere (detailed earlier in this thread....scroll up a few pages if you need a laugh), and I think I might be done buying from them.

I bought my second Lanieri suit and a pair of trousers last month. Very happy

Despite all the fluctuations I did notice they’re now offering sea island cotton shirtings in a range of fairly conservative white/blue options. At 249 per shirt these still seem to be good value Mtm compared to other sea island offerings if the pedigree of the cloth checks out. May need to swing by my nearest store and ask some questions.

Too bad they only offer shoulder-height gorges.

They didn't have an option for high rise trousers either, but you can request it. So might be worth asking I suppose.

Here is the same trouser in same fabric by Suitsupply and Lanieri (I need to shorten it by 2 cm or so). Cost me $60 less too or so. I think I got +4.5 cm on the rise and their max is 6 if I remember correctly. I feel better on the torso and it kinda takes away from the "footballer's legs" I have.

So I'm guessing the top picture is the Lanieri one based on the side-adjuster's placement (SS places them entirely on the waistband on most if not all models) and the slightly higher rise as you mentioned. I usually add 4 cm on the rise of SS Brescia trousers (front and back) in the designer and +1 cm to the crotch to get my desired rise, and I'm really happy with it.

I think it's fine, but I would love seeing some pleats. 😭
I also prefer less tapering and a bit of a wider leg and leg-opening as well. Especially with a little break it's way more flattering. If you have footballers legs and don't want it to show, I'm fairly sure it would be to your taste as well.
Anyway, I envy your footballers legs as a man who can't gain much meat on my legs despite having a solid workout routine.

Am I overreacting? On a scale of 10, my anger level is well above that.

I Ordered this blazer:

I expected a rich, deep brown.

Instead I receive:
