I have a couple of other decent pairs that I'll post when I get a chance to take some pics. Looking forward very much to becoming a contributor.

Welcome to SF. Nice shoes. Do you wear them (other than the captoes), or just collect them like most of the deviants here?

Hi Grimslade,

I only bought them this week. Had the brown captoes on yesterday, loafers today....they'll get worn all right. My shoe trees arrived today from TM Lewin, they sent one pair of the right size and several of the wrong size...back they go!

Cheers,

TB

von Rothbart, if you took this pic on either Wednesday or Friday this week, there is a good chance I was inside, partaking of its delights.

Bennies sell Paul Stuarts Choice?

I have those same shoes purchases from Paul Stuart. Love them! Well done!

Yep, and at pretty spectacular prices, too. This latest shipment they priced at $350, but most dropped pretty quickly to the previous $250 price point. Some unsold styles from prior shipments have dropped as low as $100, though most of those were odd sizes or ... unusual designs.

I remember seeing yours a while back and loving the shoes as the toebox and last are an extremely well-put-together English look comparable to eg or jl.

i thought it was your strategic angle in the shot that made the shoes like that.

and then i saw Vintage Gents pick up a few weeks ago and saw that his had the same elegant look.

so i thought, perhaps these are truly elegant.
i bought them for $269 shipped and they are truly elegant little shoes. i love these so much,
there is no need for me to want to pick up a JL 2005 in walnut and dark brown that I previously was planning to pick up when they go down to sale price point of around $550 perhaps.
