Lol.

And anyways, I was saying that: you were describing WJK as 'basics with lots of nice outerwear'... which actually perfectly describes W+H this season.

+1 luls. w+h doesn't suit bb1 as well as wjk suits him, but for many it may be better, just in case they are taller and less skinny.

The comparison between wjk and Wings+Horns is really stupid.

I really like Wings+Horns, but it is primarily a trend driven brand with considerably better construction, materials, and attention to detail than most brands in the same, mid-contemporary pricepoint. Go to a show like Capsule or any of the showrooms in NYC or LA specializing in men's contemporary, and it's pretty easy to see that Wings+Horns ranks in the top echelon of that category.

On the other hand, wjk is pretty much designer quality and prices. It's a derivative brand, but the quality is definitely there. I put it in the same category as Attachment. The designer worked with Carpe Diem for a while, and does unabashedly similar pieces, at high, but not astronomical, prices. Unfortunately, I've never found the size 3 and 4's that I'd need in that brand, otherwise I'd buy one of this MA+ aviator styled jackets.

Arcteryx is ****, AK3L is shell.

I already have a 3ply gore shell for wet snow and it has airvantage. 15km/g bottoms / 10km/g tops is more than enough for cold days and I needed something well insulated which both of those are - it's going to be my "warm" suit. The prep suit is for days when there's no pow - it's pretty toasty and 10k, never been wet on one of those days anyway.

When you say arcteryx is **** what do you mean? I have never heard that opinion from anyone.
