TBH I prefer the tom cruise kills everyone movies because it is funnier if an actor overtakes the role and eats the whole franchise because he's a weirdo. I think in the latest tom cruise has gadgets and kills everyone, they parachute over the grand palais and proceed to a rave/charity/fashion event in a hilarious way and tom beats up random people cause he's the man. James is just leftover British marketing i mean...

I've avoided them because they seem to bro-y, but I'm easily entertained. Should I start with the first, or can I just go from 5 onward? Those movies are pretty fun. I think the Fast and Furious movies, really starting with Fast Five, are the most ridiculous (in a good way) version of the modern Hollywood blockbuster action movie. They've embraced the absurdity.
