Is the pricing was much cheaper if you ordered directly from the shop in Florence and did all the fittings there?

This is an interesting development…curious if it includes 1 fitting:

I contacted Matthew about potentially having odd trousers being made up via semi-bespoke (hand cut-machine sewn). I asked him a few questions regarding the process. However, I’m quite skeptical about having a jacket made up in this process.

ah, I thought it was offshore assembled and not necessarily machine made

Machine made in house.
I am tempted to try trousers as well. Especially when I get my hands on some LL QUCT :fu:

I see it as a potentially great move for trousers. Especially if you like the pattern they cut for you. It’s essentially what luxire does but with your actual pattern from Steed. Also, I’m assuming it’s pretty similar to what redmayne does with their copying service.

I guess my rational in the bespoke trouser price thread is justified.

Lol at Liverano overcoats going for 20k bespoke. Weren't they like $4k RTW on their website early in the pandemic and then discounted by like 20-30%? I remember getting a bunch of emails a while back.

While I imagine you could be charged $US20K for a bespoke Liverano overcoat if you commission using some exotic material, through a trunk show in the US, the overcoats start at (if memory serves me) approx $9,500 (always a 1 year turnaround), the sport coats $6,040, trousers $2,500, and suits $7,500. They continue to have a very strong relationship with the Armoury visiting both locations every 6 mos like clockwork (post pandemic) - the time it takes to get a suit/jacket if your pattern hasn't change. Yes, absolutely these are very pricy and not everyone will think these prices are tenable, but in my very humbled opinion, pictures do no justice to their work. In person, I think their bespoke tailoring is exceptional. There are always many items waiting for fittings and it has been, at times, difficult to get an appointment if you wait too late - so I assume business must be robust.
