Ever think of making a pant out of the weatherproof ripstop? This falls into the "kidding, but not kidding" category from a guy who walks his dog for miles no matter the weather and, more often than I would like, in the wind and rain.

Interesting!

I'm not opposed to the concept, but I must admit it isn't on the cards. It leans towards a more technical aspect than we're accustomed to, and might be better suited for brands that specialise better in performance and outdoor wares.

No surprises here! I have seen some ventile pants from other brands, so will do some additional looking in that direction, as the stylish S.E.H Kelly anorak coupled with goretex pants looks pretty comical!

If there is anyone selling the shawl cardigan size S or maybe M in blue (not the north sea blue) but the very first version, please message me.

Anyone able to access archived product pages? I had past products saved on the internet archive but for some reason they are "This URL has been excluded from the Wayback Machine." Quite unfortunate as some people have no objections to purchasing second hand (before buying directly from the website as shipping returns is expensive to customers overseas) but cannot show buyers the glorious photos/measurements Paul had available.

Hello Paul, just wanted to ask if the Flight Jacket is still in the plans this year ? If so, could you please add me to waiting list ? Thank you!

It's not, no — it is more likely to return either spring next year or winter next year.

Its redevelopment is in a good state, but other developments of similar ilk have leapfrogged it (the engineer jacket and a new golf / Harrington jacket style). We've also made a few tweaks to the trucker jacket, which we hope to release later this year, and the work jacket, which we hope to reintroduce in the spring.

Lots of activity in the "fairly short and casual jacket" aisle, the past couple of years, albeit with nothing yet to show for it.

I'll add you to the waiting list anyway: thanks very much for your interest!

Not yet — but we hope to take some photographs of it next week, so some will emerge sometime later this month, all being well.

In the meantime, it is similar to the balmacaan in cotton, but longer.

We've made a small number of our polo shirts in cotton again this year — this time in lead grey and dark green (ahem, seaweed).

It is much the same as what has gone before, but we've tried to introduce additional structure to the neck, with a more defined stand and fall nature to it, whether worn open or closed.

You can see it in comparison to the one from previous years: it is another, slight, incremental rung up the ladder of structure. Same soft and slinky tuck-stitch cotton otherwise — very open, very airy — from which we haven't deviated an inch for a good number of years now.

In other uncharacteristically short-sleeved news, here's the t-shirt in admiral, fairly newly photographed.

We have a few more of these coming into stock before the end of the month, as well as some in lead grey (the same colour as the polo shirt at the top of https://www.sehkelly.com/shop/).

I finally got to wear the new anorak in a proper rain. In a light drizzle over the course of 30 minutes or so, it performed admirably, and kept me dry and comfortable with the breathable cotton. Once a more pronounced rain began to fall, some water made its way into the shoulders and at the neckline, as you might expect absent sealed or bonded seams. Overall a fantastic and stylish item suitable for all but the most miserable of weather--an instant classic.
