Not buttoned to the neck (i'm not a fan), just taming those collar points. But I agree, the necklace works.

You're both right, I forgot about the collar buttons.

Shoreman, the waistcoat is actually very comfortable. It might look OK, but I feel something's a bit off. I think it's the color of the pants. The waist coat is navy pinstripe, maybe I should have went with a charcoal color. Any suggestions?

I'd agree with that. The navy is in that unfortunate range of being like the pants but not QUITE enough like them. I loved this fit way more than I would normally when I saw it (and I do like it) because I thought what I presume is a wallet chain was a pocket watch.

Thanks, yup in size medium. It was a little big until my dear sweet wife put it through the drier on med. heat.

Lucky for me it made it fit better.

I don't think a s/s cardigan/henley on a guy with broad shoulders like yourself works, the juxtaposition appears at odds, there's a strong child like aesthetic to that item. I could only imagine it working on waif like hipsters and styli JP kids.

GS, that's an extraordinary shape on the brogues. I could only imagine how many teeth you've demolished with a kick to the face when you head over to Temple City to pick on the neighbors.

Bah, rentals. Real Edmontonians scoot the Henday and Whitemud to and from work. Really only possible with a 250 though.

i would have to agree, if i were you i'd leave that item as a layering piece for colder temps under jackets and such
