Honestly those rollins dont really impress me. Most of the appeal to me about PS's shoes are the sleek modern design with the classic flare. If you didnt tell me they were paul smiths I never would have guessed.

funny...that's what my SA told me. she said honestly, I wouldnt really like the Rollins and that they were pretty weak compared to other shoes they've had

that spread is from details or GQ....and those are supposed to be black, tho maybe the lighting makes em look blue ***but looking at em on a different (better) monitor they do look blue. in the mag spread they def looked black but it was printed small

the colorway (original red, or even blue) is what made the Rollins desirable, to me at least. if it's just avail in black, brown then it's sort of *meh* and looks like a lot of other shoes made just as well at a lower pricepoint

And if anything, they run completely medium in width, not narrow.
Tarmac: Is there a list somewhere that explains which makers make PS shoes? I'm pretty curious to know. I'm an AE Park Ave 8EEE and I fit comfortably into the Cage 7.5 US sizing (my feet are more wide than narrow) so I may be looking at more PS shoes in the future. Was wondering if I could find the PS maker and see if any of their styling was any good.

GS, just curious, did you see any of these at the PS store? Also the Granada (no pics)?

Not anymore, Zippyh probably bought the last pair. It was on Yoox for the last month or 2.

You can't buy Chens in the Paul Smith Store anymore?

No problem.

And yes, those were the last pair of green Chens on Yoox.
I also just got a pair of brown Ricards (ugh, full price at Nordstrom).
I've been going kind of PS shoe mad lately.

i havent been in the store...I've just been talking with my salesgal over the phone and email. I'm looking for specific shoes and while the others seem nice I dont really have much interest in them. It does look like PS has a lot more "classic" shaped shoes this season, but all in black-brown. he maintains a balances with the leopard print chelsea boots

but I'm bummed they are not getting the olive green Cages. that shade of green looks so rad. I know Barneys has them but it seems they only got 3 sizes in. It's also interesting that the leather Cages retail for $520 but Barneys sells for $595. holy markup!

The certain boots resemble the parnu shoes, not really feeling them....think I'll just sit back and wait till next year summer when this new collection goes on sale to purchase the shoes I like from this collection. Besides, I still need two more Starrs, brown and hurricane wash....
