I agree, also am not so keen on the new lightweight commando soles as they dilute the characteristic Tricker's style.

They look like Grassmeres in raw leather, has anyone seen this combination before?

I saw the Ilkleys in brown Zug for less than I paid and was a bit annoyed but then realised they were on the lightweight commando so wasn’t bothered any longer. I prefer the original make up, don’t think a lightweight sole and Zug really match.

Like the look of that grassmere but again I would prefer the original.

Got them a few weeks ago in the sale at Allsoles (190 GBP I think). Lovely boot I think. Wore with trousers for work today. Seems a slightly slimmer silhouette than some Stows?

Great price. They look like they’ll be comfy. Not sure if that’s just an illusion due to the softer look suede gives.

I always think the lighter colours look chunkier.

All good here. Just under 12 stone on the scales this morning. Not bad considering I was flickering towards 13 two months ago. I decided, I’m going to get down to 12 stone for the big fight with Tyson Fury. I made it with a week in hand. All very simple. Everybody is welcome to come to me for weight loss advice.
