Hmm interesting. I'm new to YOOX, was wondering how often they have events where they give codes for some percentage off? I am looking at something good but i dont know if its worth waiting for a code to buy it?

Yoox has rolling % promotions moving from 30% to 80% every 1.5 months. There are parallel weekly discounts on selected collections, sometimes requiring a code, which is publicized on the site and via newsletters. Star and selected accounts may receive a few special codes a year. Yoox customer care also issues codes if they are responsible for customer complaints. That’s about it and there aren’t many extra codes out there.

Sometime last year an eBay seller started selling 10% and 25% off yooxcodes over a few months, which was finally stopped by yoox.

Hopefully you are not eyeing an item I’m also eyeing. My advice to someone new to yoox is wait till it’s at least under promotion and buy it during a weekly discount.

Like I said the rolling promotion refers to the rolling 30% to 80% off items on sale. You don't need any code for those.

It seems they are usually from Tuesday to Friday.

since the 40% off promotion just began today the parallel discount will probably be next week.

The promo can be Friday to Monday morning or Monday to Friday they usually change after doing the same sequence for a while. There are promotions that are applied to certain accounts now and then. Some good discounts in the recent price cut just need to wait for something to stack with it.

Understanding yoox is basically like trying to read an algo it takes time and pattern recognition but they throw a curve ball Every now and then.
