I think the urban slim and 484 fits fit true to size also.

Was looking at a 484 cord and asked for the measurements on their live chat...they definitely don't fit TTS.


You: Hi, could you provide me with the waist and leg opening measurements for the Vintage cord in 484 fit in size 29
Chenisse R: The leg opening circumference is 14.38", the waist circumference of this item is 31.5" to allow the item to be put on.
You: What about the thigh measurement?
Chenisse R: I'm sorry for the delay--will be right with you.
Chenisse R: The thigh circumference in your size is 22 3/8 inches.

And here's 484 cord measurement for size 30 and 31 from an earlier email they sent me about other sizes. "Size 30 is 32.5 inches around the waist and 39.88 inches around the hips. The leg opening circumference is 14.75. Size 31 is 33.5 inches around the waist and 40.88 inches around the hips. The leg opening circumference is 15.13 inches."

Bought a few items in store today with the 25% off deal. Go the Seaspey Fair Isle, puffer vest, and a cotton cashmere v-neck sweater. I tried to stack my 2 year expired student discount but they wouldn't let me because of the sale already. The SA told me after he rang me up to keep my ees open because next week they have a ton of new releases dropping. I laughed and he said I'll probably see you next week, I said yep. Dammit J.Crew! Although I am not very impressed this season there are a few items I had to have and I know there will be another that I need to have, I guess that's how they get you.

J.crew is updating their online catalog on either this Friday or next Friday...I was going to jump on the 25% deal but then I'd rather wait for new release and their thanksgiving sale, which is usually 25% or 30%.

picked up the Macalister field boots (tall boots) with the 25% off. They are awesome. Very happy with them. Seem to be very well made (italy)...much better so than the original Macalisters I bought in '08.

I put some blue laces in them and they pop nicely.

Good point. I paid $90 for them on Mr Porter sale.. so not too bad for italy made bluchers but mean i destroyed them.

I've definitely noticed a trend that when the do a 25% off sale like this you know some new releases are in the pipeline. Last ear their Black Friday sale was 30% with, no minimum I think

Canadian here. Prices on the international already include the duties and are higher than the US prices, plus you pay GST.

I almost got that vest the other day. I really like it. I went with the down vest instead for warmth and with all the purchases I'll be making in the future it would have been more of a impulse buy than anything and seeing as my purchase of the Seaspey Fair Isle already filled my impulse quota for the day, I couldn't get it.

It's funny the price difference between online items and instore items. Online that vest is $128 and instore it was $118. My puffer vest is $140 online and $148 instore.
