I don't agree,

I see how the person who is pointing their finger in my face could be running their mouth - that's how the finger got there after all.

If someone say "get your finger out of my face" to me I don't necessarily think "Them's fightin' words" in fact I'd think it's the opposite and I'm being told "back off"

Now, if I'm telling you to "back off" and you take it to mean "let's fight, swing at me" I don't see how that's "running my mouth"

How is that an anger management problem? I don't know of many people who would react a whole lot differently than sayocean did. And if someone punched me while I was at work I wouldn't hit back unless defending myself was a necessity.

I'd call the police too. People that throw punches over small stuff like that tend to have an existing criminal record and need a little lovin' from Tyrone.

It's all on delivery. If you say it real aggressively your listener may find it offensive. Some people have a lot of pride (or whatever it is that makes them violent), and they will use physicality.
