Uniform LA's Chillicothe Work Jacket is an elevated take on the classic Detroit Work Jacket. Made of ultra-premium 14-ounce Japanese canvas, it has been meticulously washed and hand distressed to replicate vintage workwear that’s been worn for years, and available in three colors.

90% of the time the back is shorter than the front for me. After a while you just get the hang of it, and you develop an eye for how long you should tie your tie. On those 10% days when the back is longer the the front I usually retie it, but once in a while I can't be bothered and call it sprezz. However, if the back is consistently longer than the front you should either learn how to tie a tie or buy shorter ties.
Consistently, one of the best posters.
Provided the front is hovering a few inches above the trousers, it isn't about tying ability. It's either about the choice of knot (4IH vs HW) or the tie being too long.
When I first started, I used HW, so the narrow end was never too long. When I switched to 4IH, most of my ties were too long (though none of my Hobers, obviously). I think I tucked the narrow end to my trousers sometimes and once folded it up and clasped it with a tie clip (which works well, for those of you who are bothered). So those are two other solutions (besides switching knots, buying shorter ties--greatly limiting your options--or sending ties off to Tiecrafters)
Why does tie-tucking get 23 thumbs?
